I have GP2 on a pentium pro 200 w/NT 4.0, 32 mb RAM, Ensoniq Soundscape
Card, S3 VIRGE graphics, and CH Pro Wheel and Pedals.
After you have completed the following steps, GP2 runs
great "under NT":
a) make sure you have a FAT filesystem (not NTFS) on your hard drive.
b) install GP2 onto the afore mentioned FAT filesystem.
C) CREATE DOS BOOT DISK.
d) REBOOT YOUR MACHINE (with disk inserted, of course)
e) configure GP2 or your sound card.
f) start GP2 and drive like Damon Hill!!!! (or Mansell)
This sounds like a real pain in the butt, however, to the best of my
knowledge, this is the only way to run GP2 "under NT". GP2 is a DOS
application that requires direct access to certain hardware to optimize
performance.
