I am doing this just fine, I just purchased one as well and it plugs into my
SB and works just fine..

I tried it on the SB game port, and it did all the things the docs said
it would do if the port was too slow (I have a 486/66). So, I went out
and bought a CH Gamecard and it's been fine.

Hmm I have a 486/66 and it works just fine?  Was that a SB16?  I guess mine is
working fine, what exactly did yours do, or did it not work at all!

Wondering now....

How did you disable the SB game port?

You should have gotten a jumper setting sheet with the manual.  It explains
different irq's, addresses, etc.  I don't happen to have mine handy, but I
think the jumper marked 'joy' or something like that shoud be open.
