GP2: advise on adding new tracks

I've downloaded and installed Mid Ohio and Elkhart Lake track files into GP2
track folders but the game is not recognizing them, any help? I have the
nocd patch BTW.  Thanks in advance!

What's the problem?

Maybe you assume that the texts and trackmaps etc.. are also replaced? That's
not that case.. You only see a difference WHILE DRIVING, on the track.

Could you be more specific?

You have to replace one of the 16 tracks with one of the tracks you
downloaded and rename the dat file to the one you deleted such as
F1ct07.dat  , there are track mangers you can download to help you out
and get things organized if you're using a lot of new tracks, also
don't forget to transfer the jam files to the gamejams under the jam
name specified in the readme file in your downloaded track.
