I download several tracks (most from gp2.com and Paul Hoad track editor
homepage) and would like to know the distance/length - no of laps for  F1
races, I tried the authors but have no responses so far.

Here are the tracks

Rio 400 (Cart)
Multima
Paul Ricard (Long Version).

Any info on number of laps (or even setup) would be appreciated

Or you can simly load the tracks in the TE (that's GP2-Track Editor) and
look at the length. (track -> track statistics) then divide 305km by the
tracklength, and voila, you have the #laps.
