Is it any good? Better than Papyrus INDYCAR?
I am most curious....

  Yeah, it's a lot better.  Especially if you have Pentium 100+
since it runs in SVGA.  It looks a lot like IndyCar in VGA... the
cars are much different and I'm not sure if it'll be better for
you.  I like the faster response and the speed of IndyCar.  Nascar's
AI is much better then ICR's, they don't take you out as much.  
I recommend NASCAR to everyone but right now IndyCar Racing v2.0
is coming out and if you really like IndyCars, you might want to
save the money and get v2.0.

Graphically, yes.  Handling-wise, no.  NASCARS feel like big diesel
trucks compared to Indycars.  It's still a lot of fun, though, and two-player
modem races are great.  And the new track pack (finally arrived yesterday
from Papyrus) includes 7 new impressive tracks - Sears Point in particular
is really fun to drive.

Sears Point, fun to drive...that is questionable at this point :)
Its going to take some work.

I personally really like that track - I'd definitely say it's my favorite
in the game.  Up and down, all around - only thing I'd like better is if
I were in an Indycar rather than a NASCAR. :-)
