Thanks for the response. Since the time I posted that message, I purchased it.
What a great game. I understand about the graphics part.
No sound card here, but the joystick started right up after calibration.
I wiil tell my friend to try other joystick port, as I bet he has his
hooked up to the sound card.
My biggest complaint is the fact that I bought the 3.5" disk version and
SVGA is not included. I didn't realize this until after I opened the package.
I know that there is a lot of overhead involved with the SVGA and
it works best with something like a 90Mhz Pentium. I don't think it
was right for SVGA not to be included in all media types.
Soapbox: All this hype on multimedia is a big sham for the computer
novices. At least 85% of the current available titles for
CD-ROM are pure junk. Most of the software that is thrown into
these multimedia packages will go unused as people have no
real use for them. There is a reason the software is
thrown in, and that is because most people would not buy it.
