CH Pedals

Can any owners of these things give me some info? After searching for a
wheel and pedal combo that i can afford and actually want I've decided that
i will use pedals and keep my joystick to steer.

Now some questions. Are the pedals split axis? Just the normal ones Pro
pedals are too dear. Also where do I plug in? Will I need a game card that
has 2 joystick ports? My combat stick is in the sound card and im assumeing
that the pedals wont be usb.

Any help or info appreciated.

I have this exact setup (CH Pro Pedals, + old CH Flightstick), and I'm really
happy with them.  The pedals are split axis, for sure!  The pedals plug in
the game card (sound card), and the joystick plugs into the pedals, so
that you only need one joystick port.

If you can find USB ones, I'd consider it though...  It is probably the way to
go in the long run...

The CH pedals are great, I agree with everyone on this.

CH-Pedals  have two modes... split (gas / brake) and combines (funky rudder)

The pedals don't move forwards and backwards like what you assume by rudder.
They only tilt (ankle movement)

In gas / brake mode the signals are on axis 3 and 4... in combined the
signal is on axis 3.

there is both an "in" and an "out" connector that passes thru axis 1 and 2,
and the 4 buttons...  I don't know if the midi signal is also passed thru
since I don't have a FF wheel.
