I`ve a MOMO wheel and want to use some of the buttons for orther routines
than is allowd in the setup option of the game...

I.E look L/R etc.... any program that can do this, or would it be easyer to
mod GPx...?

I replied to one of your previous posts and foolishly neglected to mention
downloading GPxPatch, so if you haven't got it already then go get it, it
improves GP4's tv-prompts to something that you'd see in a broadcast, as
well as sorting out the faux 3d sound. The patch does more than this but,
for me, those were the highlights.

I was using a Logitech Rumblepad and had to resort to using the supplied
profiler to set up the controller the way i wanted it, i did this for GP3
and, curiously, even GP4 repeated the same setup maladies.

Having said that all that, I gave up on GP4 and went back to GP3-Season
2000, i found a patched GP3-2000 to be better than GP4 - and ran faster too.

really ir was better, i have GP3 and never thought to really try it...?

Are you sure its better... it dosn`t have launch control etc etc

GP3 (and GP3-2000) can be updated to more recent seasons, as well as other
courses and graphical updates. GP4 isn't the step forward that really should
have been delivered - think of it as GP3.5 - and the official 2000 update
covers much the same ground.
