Seems as though everytime I have some trouble on the track when racing the AI,
it's always Chris Amon.  Dirty, rotten.....

What AI drivers cause you troubles?

I was never fast enough to get ahead of Amon, Surtees would usually wipe me
out on corner entry tho.  You have to learn to brake late with him!

It's funny you bring this up.  While on VROC I always have runins with
the same two out-of-control Ferraris (I think everyone knows who I
mean) as far as AI go, whenever I have a really spectaluar
offroad/offground excursion, flames and such and car parts going
everywhere, it ALWAYS seems like the car that I hit was Jackie
Stewart.  Usually my fault, due to overagression or trying to pass
somewhere stupid, but I swear it's always that ugly BRM of Stewart's
that's upside down in a ditch and on fire.  Ironically.

OK - here's one.

Watching the historic races at Goodwood this year on SV, I noticed I was actually feeling negative emotions towards the *real* JS
for all the transgressions of his virtual alter ego.

Felt really silly for a minute, but I decided to just go with it...  ;-)

SB

PS- Someone should tell him about his "virtual" reputation - no doubt he'd be thrilled to be the last of the late-brakers!

Well, the obvious answer is John Surtees.  He's going to go deeper into the
corner than you no matter what.  How he manages that in the great white whale is
beyond me.

I also have had a few run ins with Jochen Rindt.  I remember in the early days of
the sim posting a message to this group titled "Jochen Rindt is a menace!".
Particularly galling was the time he rear-ended me at the first turn of Kyalami
going about 190 mph on a cool down lap.
