hooked up for online GPL. GPL seems to have trouble detecting my TCP
connection, and I say this because it doesn't show up in the "Connect
Via" menu.

I installed the latest versions of GPL Spy Boy and Winsock, and other
games like Viper Racing and Half-Life have no trouble with my TCP/IP
address.

Could someone please send to me a copy of their player.ini file? I'd
like to look at it to see if I can't just hack TCP into my GPL settings.

Using Notepad, create a file named core.ini in the same folder in
which gpl.exe exists containing the following two lines:

[Communications]
alternate_ip_addr_lookup = 1

That is what fixed mine.

This will then lock GSB. The***solution is to kill GSB with task manager
and reload GSB, which appears to work.

Since this first started happening, I don't think I've ever managed to
connect properly via GSB, as I keep getting disco'd.

The second solution was to uninstall GSB, and then re-install it. Once this
was done, the error message did not reappear, and |I was able to race again
on VROC.

Imagaine my disappointment today when the error message came back, and I got
disco'd from every attempt to join a VROC race.

Can anyone give me some clues as to how I stop this happening, as it is
seriously affecting my enjoyment of GPL/VROC
