Not sure how aware everyone is on this subject because I haven't seen to
many posts on it but I just got through running a race at Rockingham and
am very dissapointed in the "improved AI".The AI is very close to the
buggy version in NR99,cars coming to a dead stop at the green
flag, slowing down from 70 mph to 10 in a split second and causing you to
run in the back of them. The other one that was disappoining was the race
I just finished at Dega, where I was well in the back, almost a lap down
and the caution comes out.I'm happy,I get my lap back and will be able
to improve a bunch of positions. All I gotta do is make a stop real quick
for tires and fuel. But I catch the next car in line and they are running
the speed of the caution but never caught up to the end of the lead
lap:(By the time I can make it to my pit the lead cars are far gone and
back on the track.I exit the pit and am running at close to 170mph for a
good half a lap until we finally catch them at the green flag?Jeez I
could have picked up a few positions in the pits but this bug ruined
that idea.So any chance that we can get the AI addressed at these tracks
and I'm sure others to follow?I really enjoyed N3 until this deal, the
improvements really make the game that much better but these things just
kill the game.Any ideas?

Not sure this is really a bug.  I race Legends cars.  There have been
times when I've started in the back of a 24+ car field.  When we
approach turn 3 prior to the green a yo-yo effect takes place.  Cars up
front slow gradually and guys in the back are speeding up to catch the
pack.  There have been times when I've come to a rolling stop right
before the green comes out.  Next time you go to a race, watch the guys
on the tail end of the pack.  It can be pandemonium back there.
Usually, when you see a race on TV they only show the first 1/3 of the
pack at the start.  Try to watch the tail end of the group.  This
weekend ought to be a good example since the Cup boys are at
Martinsville.
