Is there anyplace that archives old IndyCar
Racing (version 1) setups?

BTW -  I got the program for $30 on a
"Racing's Greatest Thrills" CD along with
... the track expansion pack, demos for
IndyCar II and NASCAR 1, Al Unser Arcade
Racing (unplayable on a Pentium), Test Drive
III (also unplayable), and a 1995 Formula
One series summary and screen saver
featuring  197 photos of Damon Hill.  So
far its a marginally acceptable
return-on-investment ...

I have heard that TD III doesn't work in real time, so in fast computers it
runs too much fast. That's it true?

to which, dmarin queried ....

Certainly seems to be so in my case, and the same for Al Unser Racing.  Must
have been designed for the time when my 80286 file server had a 40M disk ...

...

I remember buying TDIII when it first came it. I ran it on a 386/25,
where it worked fairly OK. When I upgraded the computer a a 486DX2/66, it
became unplayable.

I'm quite amazed that they package it on a CD-ROM, and made no changes
to make it work with today's computers.
