rec.autos.simulators

I'm interested in obtaining the cars95 carset and the drivers.txt for Indy
Car Racing 1, but can't seem to locate a site that has them any more. I know
its old hat now but my present computer chokes on the ICR2 demo, so I'm
stuck playing ICR1 and World Circuit for now. I've tried the
didnt.doit.wisc.edu site but it dosn't seem to have the car sets any longer.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

  Hello. I put the 1995 car sets (as of the 500) at alt.binaries.misc (or
it could have been alt.binaries.games) for ICR v1. The car sets have been
called "cars93" or something like this, but they ARE the 1995 cars!
I somehow lost a few other sets so I'm afraid there's no Penkes. Sorry!

    Thanks for responding to my post, I did finally manage to get the files
I was looking for on the didnt.doit.wisc.edu ftp site. I used the actual
I.P. address instead of the site name and it finally worked properly for me,
but thanks for offering me your car sets. Seems netscape has a few ftp
quirks, or it could be me, who knows.
