to extract I get an error saying "can't find attached archive data" I
cancel that error and get another one saying 1 file could not be
extracted...Any ideas? This thing is driving me crazy..I damn near spent

The Service Pak is archived with a different system and it has been
causing all sorts of problems.  Especially for users with Netscape.  The
best advice is to get a dload manager and use that to do the
downloading.  The two I'm familiar with are Gozilla(free) and Getright.
(shareware).  Both allow you to schedule the downloads and grab them
automatically.  I used gozilla to dload all 45 files while I was browing
and doing other reading.
When you do download the files, send them to a temp folder.  then when
you run the installer, let it create the zip file in ANOTHER different
folder.  Keeps everything from getting messed up.
Totally delete what you have done and start over with a dloader or
IE5..0,  good luck

Can you give me the internet address for Godzilla.  When I do a search, all I
get is stuff about the movie.

Thanks,

Try searching for 'Go!zilla'.

Andi.

It's not "godzilla", it's "gozilla". A great utility by the way.

Thats the beauty of Gozilla.  Just go to the web page with all the
files listed.  Click on the Leech button and all the files will be put
into Gozilla's file system.  Then just make sure you select all the
files to be dloaded and choose either dload now or schedule it for
later.  Gozilla will do all the rest.  You don't have to monitor the
dloads, you  don't have to choose each and every file to dload.  It
really is a time saver.  and it seems to dload at a faster rate than
either netscape or ie5

I know that the downlaod files for Service Pack 3 totals out to 130 Megs.
Once everything is installed from these files, how much Hard Drive space does
SCGT then occupy?

Thanks.
