How to set T2's pedals further apart?

I recently bought t2 and am very satisfied with the wheel,
but frankly, the pedals are a bit sucky.
Has anyone modified them so that the brake and the gas pedals
wouldn't be as close as they are?
I'm not quite sure how to move the brake so that my feet
wouldn't get tangled all the time...
