Is it possible to use separate pedals with a Thrustmaster Grand Prix 1
or do i absolutely have to use the levers on the wheel?
Also, is it durable or will it break often?

Yeah, its possible to use a GP 1 wheel with the pedals of a T2. You just
have to plug the adaptor that comes with the T2 between the GP1 wheel and
your pedals and then the pedals into the game port. Its then configured as
two joysticks.
I just can tell you just incredible. The GP1 is way better than the T2
wheel, its definitely worth the money.
I then bought the GP1 and plugged it in with my Pro Pedals, and it works great!
You have to user the plug that comes with GP1 though.

I think you're right. I thought I was crazy for liking the
GP1 more than my T2, but you're right....I can't see myself bring the
T2 out of retirement. If anyone wants to buy it, let me know. :)
