I don't agree. It's more a relict from the time when producers believed
they could prevent piracy by bugging the paying customer with annoying
protection schemes while the "warez dudes" get rid of it in a few days.
Of course, this is one more reason to order sims directly from the States.
Silly localizations, CD in drive requirement and adjusting German versions
for 10 year olds, that does it.
