F1RS Affects System Clock?

F1RS Affects System Clock?

by Jerry Moreloc » Mon, 02 Feb 1998 04:00:00

I've noticed that each time I run F1RS, upon reentering the system, my
system clock has lost time--sometimes a little, sometimes a lot.  (At least
I'm pretty sure there's a connection there.) No biggie, I just wonder if
anyone else has noticed the same thing and why/how this is happening?

Well I'll be damned.....is *that* what is causing it?!!!!!!

I have noticed my clock losing time but had no idea why!

Well, mine lost a ton too.  About a minute in 3 weeks.

I'll try my little Accu-Set program and see how much can be expected the
next time I play and post back.

Haha.

Like I said, it's no biggie.  What got me to wondering is sometimes, rather
than save a race, I'll just pause the game and come back to it--sometimes
hours later.  Each time I do that my clock loses time--sometimes an hour or
more.  May be something other than F1RS causing it, but the system clock
losing time seems to be limited to those occasions when F1RS is paused for a
substantial period.  I've never noticed this with any other application or
on any other occasion and I am simply curious.
