My One and only problem with F1RS - Qualifying time clock

by Glenn Corrig » Thu, 05 Feb 1998 04:00:00

My only problem is that i like to time my qualifying session so that i
can run my loast quaulifying laps as the timed session runs out (a la
Senna / Schumacher).

When you are in the pit you only see the session time clock when in
accelarated time.

This makes it too hard to judge the time to leave as you have to wait
whilst F1Rs re-builds the track. But if you sit in the car you are
taken onto the hot pit lane where you cant sit and wait. If you push
return to pit to sit in the pit bay you loose one of your session
laps.

I know its a bit trivial, and I would be the last one to knock the
sim, but its just one of those small things...if you could sit in the
can whilst watching the competitive times and the time count-down it
wouls make for graet last minute qual times.

Any thoughts!

Yep,  Sounds good to me, The best qualifing laps in F1 almost allways come
near the end of the session.  people see what they have to beat and push a
little harder to do better.
