rec.autos.simulators

Hi all,

First chance I've gotten to read r.a.s in a couple of weeks. Just read most
of the posts regarding F1RS and I'm interested in it. Sounds fantastic. But
I haven't seen to much mentioned regarding system requirements. I have a
P150 w/64ram, and Monster3d 3dfx. Will the 3dfx save my bacon with the frame
rates the way my Rendition card does with N2 and ICR2? :)

You should be fine.  I'm running a P-166/Pure3D with 32MB of RAM and it
flies, especially with REPLAYS set to the off position.  Good luck.

I've got nearly the same setup except I have 34edo ram. It's ok except for
the first
corner slowdown, gets very choppy nearly undrivable thats with replays off
detail
down a notch and I've also edited my sound files and full install.

So if you are lucky enough to get through the first corner you won't be to
bad, but
believe me can be frustrating.
