I can't *believe* we didn't get a winner's interview!  ABC decided that their
next program was more important.  What was next?  Golf!  Give me a break.  Who
GIVES a f...?!  Was it really that important to get to the golf that quickly?
Oh yeah, we might miss one or two shots(which they could always show on
replay).  F'king ABC suits... >:-(

Main problem is CART PAYS ABC to be televised, ABC pays the PGA to broadcast
the golf.  Thats the BIG difference. ABC wants all the ads they can get for
return on their money.

My uncle was a Pro-Golfer {deceased now.} & I never could understand
all the "Hub-Bub" about getting a wittle white ball in a hole 200-500 yards
away? "O" well to each their own I guess?

I do not understand it either, but on the same token alot of people do not
understand watching cars go around in circles

Eldred,

      The TV market share for Golf is 2 to 4 times that of a Cart race even
if Tiger Woods isn't playing. Consider ourselves lucky that we got to watch
the whole race.

Yep that sucks for CART. You know you don't have a "popular" product when
you have to pay people to show it. If it's really good then people will pay
you to have the rights to show it.

It's like a really bad meal and the cook has to pay the customer to eat it.

Maybe CART should pay the fans to fill the stands too. j/k  ;)

The race winner interview was here for the westcoast version :p
but they still bearly got it in.......no time left.......I blame it
all on CART not abc/espn......cheap cart needs to buy more time
or cut the damn laps or not go yellow for a fly on the track.
