I was told to go to a site and download a nocd patch so I downloaded a file
called devf12k2.ace. The site said to replace the original exe with this one
and the program says it is not a valid 32 bit exe.  I renamed it like the
old file and still no work.  Where can I get a file that works.

Dennis,

The .ace file is a compressed file. Most files on the internet are stored in
a compressed format to both save on storage space and the amount of data to
transfer.

You first need to uncompress it using WinAce. You can download a free single
user uncompressor here: http://www.winace.com
