still drive so fast ???!!!!
Can you tell me about your experience ??
Are you faster or slower with this wheels ?
Thanks.

Thanks.
It took me almost 2 weeks to transition from a soft joystick to a wheel. The
problem was over controlling; I had a habit of throwing the joystick into the
turn and holding it cranked over, essentially steering with the gas pedal. One
day tooling around a road course, I just let go of all my expectations and
"learned" behavior. I started caressing the wheel, rolling gently into
corners, etc. The car immediately stopped pushing through the apex to the
exit; it rode around like it was on rails.
Be gentle with it, and it'll pay dividends. I had expectations of dropping
times by huge percentage points when I first bought the T1. I did eventually,
but it was a long, long road to get here. Be warned, I dropped more initially
than I eventaully gained.
Mike.
Is there anyway to move the brake pedal over one spot to the far slot on the
left? My feet are too big to place them both on the gas and the brake
pedals.
Thanks,
Beau

On the other hand, the road tracks *still* require knowing the course. I
thought my problem was control of the input device, and I was all over
the courses and into walls a lot at Long Beach and Laguna Seca. But when
I got the weheel I was STILL into the walls all the time! I just didn't
know the courses well enough. (I'm *still* into the walls on osome of the
tracks!)

It is possible, but I found I got enough room by just taking the roller
off of the brake and put it on the other side of the "thingie"

First you open up the pedal box. You'll see that each pedal is screwed
in by four screws and there is a potentiometer connected to each with
a couple of wires: one going to the power potentiomenter (gas) and the
other going straight to the external wire. Simply unscrew the left
pedal and move it to the third slot.
If you encounter the problem of short wires inside as I
did, then you have to do some wire soldering just to get enough length
to reach the third slot. If you prefer, you may want to move the
small brake wheel (thats what you step on) to the opposite side.
Let me know if you ve any questions.

: I did exactly that, not because my feet are that big but because I prefer
: to brake with my left foot ...that's the way Karts drive anyway ..and
: thats the style I like to practice.
