N3 CRASHES

Hi,

Just helped a friend with a new PC, install N3.

PIII 550, 128 SDRAM, Voodoo 2 (16mb), SB live. Sports Car GT and Dirt
Track Racing run OK.

NASACR 3 locks up EVERY time you go to the car, in pit lane to start
practicing (single race).

Sometimes it drives 50 ft, sometimes it's sitting there frozen as you
get to the "in-car" screen. Have to "reset" to reboot the PC.

EVERY other computer operation seems OK.

Any idea what's wrong with N3 ???

Thanks in advance,

Emery

what version of the drivers are you using and what card did you choose
for N3 when you installed it? 3dfx or D3d?

Make sure you have downloaded the latest drivers for the Voodoo 2....your
problem sounds familiar.

If nothing else has helped so far, check the BIOS settings and make sure the
CPU is 'Write Enabled'.
