  If anyone does finish a Cart mod or a fullblown CARt sim, please please
please don't use Toyota for the***pit sounds...That is the wimpiest
sounding microphone job....at least the incar shots of Honda powered cars
'sounded' powerful.

It may sound wimpy on TV, but believe me, the Toyota sounds awesome live.
Something to do with the single-sided turbo.

  They've got to work on a better posisiton for the microphone or alter the
filtering cuz it just sounds sooooooo wimpy.  I remember when I saw the
Cart cars at Portland several years ago...it was rainy(suprise!) and all the
other cars had detuned somewhat, <<this was back before Toyota had won a
race yet>> so the backfires on the other engines were fairly mild, but the
Toyo's were still maxed out and they made pretty big booms..

Well I recorded some engine sounds last November at Fontana for
Champwet, so we probably won't be using any in car camera audio for the
our sounds.
