It's not an important one, but as a "motor-racing-historical-nut" I saw
something NOT from 1967......

Come on !! Who knows what I'm talking about ????
I'll give the answer a bit later on....

Rouen wasnt in the 67 season, but they explained why they did that (it's a
better track)
Is that it?

The movie "Grand Prix" was from 1966.  I think they were either reaching
here, or just didn't think we'd notice...

Can't you tell a Lotus Climax from a "49" ???? :-)

Take a look at the credits screen!
It's Jim Clark at Monaco, but look at the SHAPE! and the width of his
tires.
Now look at the team/player info, and choose the LOTUS,

seeeee ????? :-)

1. pr-1967 Lotus Climax was "fat" with small wheels,
2. Lotus Ford 49 was low , thin and had fat wheels!!

Geez, Bart, that's a hysterically funny mistake.  :-/

I'm not putting you down.  I think it's incredible that you can enjoy (and
correct) the sim at that kind of level.  Many fast laps, Bart!

Too bad you're wrong.    The Lotus 49 didn't debut until the Dutch
Grand Prix in June.   At Monaco, and the other early season races,
Lotus was still running the old cars.

Its very easy.
In 1967, the france GP was in LeMans and not in Rouen. In 1968 it was in
Rouen.

How true... remember that movie "NINE days in Summer"?...

NINE.. because it was about the Lotus 49.. and it didn't race the first two
(Kyalami, and Monaco) of the eleven races that year.

Good call!
