Does anyone have a Gateway 2000 P5-75 Family PC and try to
run NASCAR RAcing in Highres mode?  My parent have a problem in
that the UNIVESA driver does not communicate correctly with
the TRIO video card they use.  I think they need real mode
DOS drivers for their DOS sessions but have been unable to
find any yet.  ANy help is appreciated.

Thanks.

This problem will occur if you try to run Nascar through Windows 95.
The game in not compatable with windows and you must run it through
MS-Dos Mode.  In most of their systems Gateway hasn't bothered to include
the DOS CD-Rom and Sound Card drivers, even though they bundle Nascar.

The Trio problem may be resolved by aquiring the correct DOS drivers for
that card. What exactly are you getting for an error when you try to
run the game with the NASCAR -H  command line???

Jim,

I am having the same problem with both Nascar and ICR2 on my Gateway.  I
quess we need the DOS drivers that do not try to load into windows like
the ones that came with my system.  Let me know if you find a source of
these drivers.

Thanks,
Michael
