Well, the obvious things are:

1. Your exit from Parabolica at the beginning of the hotlap is too slow. The lap
prior to the hotlap needs to set up the hotlap. You cross the S/F line at 165,
ten MPH down from what you could have. At the end of your hotlap, you've got a
decent exit from Para into the straight, had you also had a similar exit you'd
probably have shaved near half a second from the hotlap.

2. No need to shift up to fifth after Curva Grande, stay in fourth. In a long
race, the shift to fifth will help save your engine, but for hotlapping, it
needn't be a concern.

3. The turn in to Lesmo2 looked a bit early, forcing you to stay off the power
at the exit. Start in to Lesmo2 a bit later, and you'll find you can get in the
power much sooner after the apex without running wide. This helps your speed
through the whole back half.

Didn't notice much else to comment on. I can hit a high 1:28 at Monza now and
then, but most of my laps there are 1:29's too, so take my comments with a grain
of salt...

Posting a 670kb file to a non-binaries newsgroup is NOT a good way to go
about getting help..... especially from those of us who have to pay
through the nose for our online time.

I apologize to everyone about posting the replay.   I decided to do it
at the last second.   I was aware of your concerns so I noted the attachment
in the header.   That way, you didn't have to open the message if you didn't
want to deal with time for the file download.   Unless of course, you read
all messages offline.   Then, of course, you had no choice.

Anyway, sorry.   My bad.   Won't happen again.

To make it up to you, I'm attaching a 6 meg "I'm sorry" hallmark card.
:)

There are probably many people who would look at your replays and help you
out, but this is not the place to post them, many of us use 56k modems and
have to pay by the minute for phonecalls. Please post binaries to an
appropriate group, alt.binaries.simulators for example.
Your message alone took over 5 minutes to download :( and I download
newsgroups at peak times :(

We are looking into starting an Online drivers school.  If things work out
I'm sure there will be thousands of drivers applying for it.  However, The
school will take some time to get completely organized before it's ready to
accept applications.

I haven't seen the file and no binaries at all for that matter, so apparently
this newsserver I'm using (news.nl.net) is well configured :
  non-binaries newsgroup -> posting_with_attachment doesn't make it there
Maybe if you can get in contact with 'your' newsserver admin, he/she could set
it up like that. I know I like it :) (btw, it's safer too, virusses don't make
it into the group either).

Yes, many news servers toss out large binaries found in 'discussion'
groups.  If you had to pay what they have to pay for storage space for
Usenet, you might do the same thing.
