F1GP2 no FIA license?

by Marc Nieuwho » Thu, 30 May 1996 04:00:00

I went to my local software store to find out
about the release date of F1GP2!

The reason was that Microprose did not have a FIA license to use
all the commercial stuff on their computerized cars etc etc!

Can someone confirm this?

Thank you!

In general "local software stores" will only recycle the information
that they read in the computer games mags - most of them don't
have any contact with software companies at all. I've heard the
"licencing" rumour, in addition to the "Crammond / Microprose
falling out rumour", and the "Microprose into liquidation" one...
what next??
