Get serious. I have heard every single theory as to what may have happened..
Here are some from memory...
1) Geoff Crammond is sleeping with Princess Di and is catching stupid disease
off her..
2) Microprose just bought IBM and Microsoft and have delayed the release till
it's offical
3) Geoff Crammond has left! He took his money and left for the Bahamas and
Microprose had to clone another 'Geoff' and that is why they needed a delay.
4) Aryton Seena hasn't signed the release forms yet the lazy bastard..(what
do you mean he's dead).
5) They are waiting till the season finishes so if another driver dies, they
can tastefully remove his name as well.
6) A dog ate Crammond's notes and pissed on his diskettes.
7) The game is finished but had to be reworked as it was mistitled. Instead of
Fourmula One Grand Prix, Crammond had typed Formula One Grand ***.
8) There is a tutankharmen type curse on the project. Already two game testers
have been booked for speeding and one guys cat got run over.. (wooooooo spooky)
9) Crammond is a figment of my imagination.
10) Crammond has recently been linked witht the JFK assisination attempt. He
has seen going to see the movie JFK . AND he can spell Zubruka!
Enough with the pseudo speculation okay!
Also, I noticed one poor excuse for a human whinging that the game was
a) Late!
b) Would require a Pentium to run at least!
Well pal.....Get a job, save some money, and buy a Pentium if you are so
troubled. After all, you have at least 6 months to go before the game is out
right?
And finally... the game WILL run on a 486dx4/100. In fact this is the minimum
which means the game is playable!!!! A Pentium 90 is recommended (not as the
minimum) so all those claiming that you will need a Pentium Pro at least are
wrong!!!
