When playing SCGT, and changing to the AI driver, is there a way to call the
driver back into the pits for another driver change or does one have to wait
for him/her/it to pit on their own?

Download the patch 1.55x? available from the US PITS or the SCGT homesite.
It adds the feature that allows you to call the co-driver into the pits.
Otherwise, you just have to wait for him to run out of fuel...

John's correct. The patched version allows you to hit Shift+A to get your AI
driver back into the pits. Otherwise, (s)he has to run out of gas or hit
something.

Thanks,

I thought I had installed the patch, but I couldn't find any readme file so
I installed it again. Now I can have my AI driver take over while I eat
dinner and stay out of the doghouse with the wife.

Not to be a pain but can't you just hit Pause?

Not in the game as it was originally released but that option is part of the
1.551 patch. Can't quite remember what key it is (alt-a maybe, the docs
should tell you).
