rec.autos.simulators

I've just got this game, and set up to run it with my Logitech FF wheel, but
the steering seems to be awful.

It seems like there is a massive dead zone, as the car doesn't respond very
well. Does any body have any ideas on how to solve this?

I've tried recalibrating the wheel but it's no different.

Just a thought: Perhaps it's the same situation as was with Demolition
Racer-- it's a console game and intended to be driven with a joypad.
I don't know for sure, since I've never played SR2, but it's a good
bet.  Is there any force-feedback support?  If not, that would make me
even more sure it's a joypad game.
