Actually, the cows from back home say "MOOOOO!!!!".  It must have something
to do with being pumped full of more steroids than Ben Johnson.

Of course, the cows here in Switzerland say "Ching-Ching", and you would too
at 60 USD a kilo...

No kidding.....I'm no big fan of sit coms in the first place but there
are a few notable exceptions, but that series is sooo bad, and just
knowing knowing that he's the voice of the Woolly Mammoth (sp) in "Ice
Age" almost ruined a very good movie for me

We're not quiet, there's just not enough of us to make a difference in

itself.....

Humour is regional, of course.  I lived with a group of British guys when I
first moved to Switzerland.  I have always liked Monty Python, but for me,
the endlessly rerun tapes of Blackadder, Ben Elton, Harry Enfield etc. just
weren't as howlingly funny for me, the Canadian, as they were for the
British guys.  Of course, few of them had much to say about my own Canadian
imports like Kids in the Hall, SCTV, This Hour has 22 Minutes....

Ballast laddie Ballast. We here in 'Merica are smart.  We learnt in
school that the Earth is spinning.  Spinning mighty fast...So to stay
better attached to the ground we add ballast.

One day, we will be free (hehehehehe runs for cover!). Well, they have SARS
in Ontario, now would be a great time to build an impassable wall between
the 2 provinces (the Papineau line).

You could have added Brazilian time keepers - oh no, they'd never be able
to count to 200 laps...

...and the Americans decided to spin out the Iraq team that doesn't exist
but got the Brits by mistake.

How about this for Scotland.

Rumour has it that NASCAR was apparently contacted by Scotland, who were
very keen on entering a team of their own, it seems.  No-one seems to be
saying too much about the truth behind this.  However, insider
information has it the they were refused because, as one reliable source
put it, ' No-one could undestand a f*ck*ng word they were saying'.

You just haven't been looking in the right places...  :)

Ahem.

"The Norwegian team showed up (looking much like the Swedish team, with quite a few blond girls in tow) but were disqualified
when NASCAR found they were using super-chilled fuel.  However, the Norwegians protested because their fuel is ALWAYS
super-chilled, and their car wouldn't run otherwise.

While the argument was going on, a few of the pit crew snuck in back and broke out the beer and lutefisk.  Everyone except for
the Norwegians immediately ran for the toilets, and while everyone was ralfing, the Norwegians got the pole AND won the argument
about super-chilled fuel.

The only downside is that they will have about 20 driver changes when they realize the interior of the car reaches 140 degrees,
a temperature only found in Norway in blast furnaces."

Cheers!
