N3/wheel problem

I'm using Nascar 3 with an Interact V4 FF wheel.  (Why, you ask?
Basically, I'm too cheap to upgrade my computer or buy a good wheel).

Anyway, it works fine until I program the buttons on the V4 using the
Interact Profiler.  Then when I go to N3, it freezes up every few
seconds as I'm driving.  If I go back and delete the profile,
everything is fine again.

Any help would be appreciated.  I would like to be able to program the
buttons so that I never have to touch a keyboard while I'm driving.

It sounds like your Interact Profiler is kicking in, in the background and
using resources that your Nascar 3 needs.
