N3 Small setup problem with my Nascar Pro wheel.

by And » Thu, 16 Sep 1999 04:00:00

OK, having a problem getting my wheel "right"   As soon as I turn it
left (or right for that matter) it just accepts the one movement.  For
some reason this causes my left/right steering to be reversed.  (if I
turn left on the wheel my car turns right)  I think we need some sort
of deadzone adjustment.  (or at least I do) My pot doesn't seem to be
spiking (looking at the calibration screen)  Any ideas?  What are most
of you using Papy's joystick driver or the DX one?  I also have wheel
selected in the menu option.
Thanks,
Andy

Calibrate _both_ of the joysticks in the control screen, even though you
don't have anything on the second joystic.  This used to fix this problem in
N2.  Just select Joystick 2, and move the thing around it's limits.  It
won't really calibrate, but it should fix that problem.
