Nascar Pro Wheel & GPII..... Setup Help Needed!!

by Dan » Tue, 03 Feb 1998 04:00:00

I have tried to setup my Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Wheel with "Separate"
accel and brake setting as the TM manual describes.  However, I get an
"Insufficient Joystick Range" error message when I try to calibrate.

Can someone give me some advice?

Thanks,

Dan

P.S.  Yes I made sure to set the switch on the pedals to "Separate".

I had a very similar problem and finally gave up on calibrating thru
the Advanced menu(once I got into the advanced menu and couldn't
calibrate I could not get out without sutting down the game with
Ctrl-Alt-Del). I got around this problem by going to the main menu,
selecting control method, checking "not used" and OK (skipping advanced)
, then calibrated when the calibration window appeared. Before shutting
down the game I checked the "yes" for save changes and have never had to
worry about calibrating again.  Also, I have my pedals set in the
"combined" position. Hope this will be of help.
