Nascar Pro Wheel & Other Devices

Okay.... My first post to the group.... First things first!

I have realy enjoyed the discussions that I have seen here.  The
technical expertise that has been shown has been AWESOME to say the
least.  Keep up the great  posts everyone!

I have the following H/W:
P5-100mhz compaq (yeah, I know its slow, hope to upgrade soon!)
Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Wheel & Pedals (Nice set IMHO)
Thrustmaster F-16 FLCS Flight Stick
Thrustmaster ACM Game Card (sounds like I should own stock in TM)
Sierra Screamin 3D V1000 Video Board

First question:
No matter if I run Rendition or Renddma mode, I do not have much of a
frame rate increase.  If I turn on anything other than cars, asphalt,
fence and walls, it realy gets choppy.  Does anyone know of any
sttings that I may have overlooked??

Also, I cannot locate a nice quality joyswitch in my area.  I havent
plugged in the F-16 stick in quite awhile because you have to connect
the keyboard to the stick and the stick k/b plug to the PC.  I bought
an ALFA DATA brand ALFA TWIN auto switch at Micro Center.  However, I
dont believe that this will work because (correct me if I'm wrong) the
F-16 has to have a continuos power supply from the game card in order
to supply the keyboard pass through?   Has anyone else tried a setup
like this?

Okay...  All suggestions are greatly appreciated.
