The Canopus Pure3D is the best performer.  It may be a bit more
expensive, but it has an addition 2MB of texture memory and also a
TV-output.

I dunno how many times I have asked this and got no response.. Maybe
this time? :)
Is the Canopus a retail card, meaning can I buy it at the store, or do
I have to mail order or what?
I've not seen them in my area (Nashville, TN.. ), and I'd like to pick
one up to sell my M3D.. Is this a wise idea?

SPAMMERS!!! Read this!!!
No spam for me! Unwanted, unsolicited commmercial email
WILL be dealt with.. And, why the hell do you even bother
sending the shit if you don't include your own return address?

Pretty sure you gotta get the Canopus through them direct, although
there is also the PC Zone which I think is doing orders also for them.
It's $179, but you can get a Monster (retail) for close to that.  With
the Monster you will get a game bundle (which is now old stuff - MW2,
D2, etc.).  With the Canopus you will get an extra 2MB of memory, a TV
output (I think), but no games.  If you already have the games in the
Monster, or don't particularly like them, then the Canopus is the
obvious choice.

I was told by a Canopus Tech that Canopus' Pure3D will eventually be
available at retail outlets....but they are still having problems keeping up
with direct mail orders so it may be awhile.
