Has anyone been able to control a spin once already in one? Like in ICR2
you can still control it like a real car. I have noticed I have no control
once I past say 90 degrees. Also has anyone had trouble returning to
original desktop resolution after exiting the game? Seems quite a few times
I need to reset my desktop back to 800x 600 and my HD is working really
hard after exiting. Just curious its not to hard to reset my desktop as
with STB you dont need to reboot. But the spin non control is more
important as it seems I always stop facing 180 degrees to direction of
race. thanks for any help. Aloha, Mike

I can control it. But once past say 90 degrees, the momentum seems to carry
over so that you don't have control. I think it seem very realistic. In GP2
it
seemed like every time you spun you were screwed. I have saved a couple
of spins in GP2, but F1RS is way better at this IMHO.

Nope I usually use 1024x768x16bit resolution.

Not me. That sounds more like GP2 :-)

Yep. Only yesterday I had a moment when I zig-zagged over the track, and
succeeded in fending of the spin. Very nice, "feeling" the car starts to
slide, release the throttle, steer in and frantically keeping it of "the
green stuff"

Full gas and brake hard when you face the right direction.

Does this happen only with F1RS or with all 3Dfx games? I don't have these
problems when I exit such games in the normal manner, but a few crashes in
Quake2 resulted in my desktop being 640*480. I have set it to 800*600
standard.

Well, a quick burst of gas and sharp steering  will make you spin, then
brake hard when you face the right direction. Power turn.

approximately 700 yards. All of these shells had ricochetted, with the
exception of a six***th round which finally put the Mark V Panther out of
action." Sgt. Thomas P. Welborn, Germany's Panther tank, the quest for

As far as catching it after the rear wheels start to come out all I
can say is "BE QUICK". It seems to be the best physics model I have seen
as far as this goes. The ***y hopeless engine sound (ie full noise or
min noise) make it harder though.
