GPL 1.2 SUCKS

I just installed 1.2 and now my online play completely stinks.  Big time.
even not through vroc, just me and my friend (me on t3, him cable 20 min.
away) and it's a warp-o-rama out there!
I MUST be missing something... a core.ini adjustment maybe?  I just have the
alternate address lookup bit..
Somebody please help!

just show up at VROC and ask for one of the old timers to send you thier
core and all is solved...stop your whining

GPL 1.2 SUCKS

Make sure you are both using the 84/3 settings for net connections in core
ini

net_mdm_client_send_size = 84            ; Client packet size on dialup
net_mdm_server_send_every = 3            ; Server packet freq on dialup

the core.ini.sample is set to 84/2 which may be causing the probs if only
one of you is using it.
I use 1.2 with ISDN and get great connections to servers all around the
world.
