I love N3!!
That (mine) was a provocation just to stimulate someone to express his
feelings about the lack of GPL physics, now that the sim has come out (we
still know the previous reactions, some months ago when that was announced).
(I thought that choosing a subject like "what do you think about N3?" and
the like, nobody had answered to my specific question)
Actually I've not seen such kind of opinions in the past few days (maybe
I've not noticed them...).
However I think that (now that I have N3 in my hands) I don't miss GPL
physics at all!
Even if I was a little bit hesitant before buying it, now I believe that
it's a completely different sim, and, "to call a spade a spade" I'm
convinced that the GPL physics in N3 would have been undoubtedly out of
place!

People do need to stop ***ing about not having the GPL physics engine in N3,
yes. BUT having the GPL Physics Engine in N3 would NOT make the cars handle
like GPL cars! That's the common misconception! The physics engine is merely
the six degrees of freedom. ICR1, ICR2, N1, N2, N99, and N3 all use basically
the same exact game engine, but they don't all handle the same. You see? If
N3 had been done with the GPL physics engine, Papyrus would have modeled the
cars to be realistic in size, weight, downforce, etc., thus making it handle
not like a GP car, but like a stock car.

I thought, this argument was already dead? While the complaining about N3 not
having the GPL engine is really useless now, using the GPL engine wouldn't mean
that
Nascars would drive like '67 F1 cars, they would just behave and feel MUCH
CLOSER to
the real cars.
