Grand Prix 4 - best updates?

by Sid the Slot » Mon, 25 Nov 2002 23:00:21

Hi

I am looking for the unoffical updates to games  eg Year 2002 updates.
If possible they would be like the complete updates similar to the excellent
one released for F1RC.

If anyone has some links - I'd be grateful.

Thanks

Yepp, it's called the "Fantasy Track Update (TM)", available for $19,99.

Ouch!  The Champ lands a telling blow!

And the challenger comes right back with a solid counterpunch!

"Sid the Sloth" said something recently...

gp4.alphaf1.com - unfortunately there's nothing which solves the problem of
rank programming, but there's an excellent patch which gives you realistic
terrestrial or digital style captions. think it's called gpxpatch or
something. Sad day when the most interesting feature of an unofficial update
is captions.

Someone will have to correct me, but from what I understand the 9.6
patch breaks most updates, and a new version of gpx patch will need to
be made before new cars/tracks/etc can be imported into the game.  I
just started getting into it tho, so YMMV.

Hehe, I didn't respond to at least two dozen "F12k/GP4" posts.
This time, I could ... not ... resist ... Dammit! ;)
