Newest Monster 3d II drivers + GPL??

Diamond's web site has a new set of drivers posted for the Diamond
Monster 3D II.  They're listed as version 4.10.01.0207 Posted: 3/24/1999.  
The notes suggest they're based on Glide 2.54.

Has anyone tried them yet with GPL?  I understand the past drivers >
Glide 2.53 haven't worked with GPL.

I haven't downloaded new drivers, since I just installed a new Diamond Monster
3D II. But the drivers on the installation disk included Glide 2.54, and
everything is working fine---consistent 36+ fps. Pretty good, considering I
have an "antiquated" Pentium Pro 266 and 64 megs. I would guess the main
difference between Glide 2.54 and Glide 2.53=Glide .01 :)

Glide .01 must be the black triangles. A few days ago we installed the
Monster 2 with the Glide 2.54 drivers and got the notorous black
triangles. Pulled the 2.54 and installed the 2.53, and Presto! Black
is history. GPL now running in full glory at 1284, in replays, and 800
in races. Man, I love this sim! Cheers. Sam
