SCGT car question

SCGT car question

by Greg Cisk » Mon, 31 May 1999 04:00:00

I am almost under the impression that SCGT is modeling
the Grand Touring Prototype cars in addition to the Sports
cars. What about the Ferrari and Jaguars. Heck one of the
old IMSA Nissan which were so *** would be cool
too. The GTP cars were always described as F1 cars with
bodies. Am I wrong about this???? I am admittedly not into
this type of racing like some of you so this is a genuine
question on my part.

Thanks.

SCGT car question

Well the last generation of GTP cars were very fast.  I think they actaully
held the outright fastest lap at Laguna Seca over the Champ Cars. The
Nissian GTP team at one time had a 50% win ratio.  If Geoff Brabham entered
a race he had a 50% chance of winning it. The Toyota GTP car was in the end
the fastest, with Fangio driving.

I do think that SCGT is actaully only GT cars not any true prototypes.  I
would also love to see so open cars, since they are part of the series SCGT
models.
