Do you know ifl the 1.1 patch will correct the problem ?

Unfortunately from what I've read the 1.1 patch will not have built in
OpenGL support. We'll have to keep using the beta patch............which is
not good.

What's the problem ?
Yesterday a friend came with his TNT2 and Voodoo2. We have tired this in the
same PC (PII 400 Mhz, 128MB Ram) with a 800x600 resolution :

Here are the results of my tests (Full details, 19 oponents on the grid)

Voodoo3 3000 : 36 fps
Voodoo2 : 24 fps
TNT2 (PoenGL patch) : 4 fps !!!!!     Here is the problem !!!!

Sounds strange as I had constant 36 fps when reducing mirror redraws to once
every 4th frame.
