I want to play with a friend at ICR2 with our Modems, but we have a
lot of difficulties to initialize them.
My modem is not in the Papyrus List, it's a french one but the V32 BIS
at the end of the list seems ok.
For my friend no initialisation yet. His modem is a :
MULTITECH MULTIMODEM 2834 ZDXF.
Does anyone of you have succeded to initialise this one ?

The most important thing to do is refer to the manual. In the North American version
of the manual the information you need is on page 48. It gives you a sample init string
and tells you to disable data compression, error detection, and error correction. Refer
to the manual for each of your modems, and look for the parameters for each of these to
create the proper init string. Then make sure that you've both set your connect speed
(in ICR2) to the same thing...it should be the same on both machines.
For gameplay purposes make sure the faster machine answers...it controls the game
during play.
