Corrupt Pallette Help!!!

Hi Ya'll !

I'm no genius but, I can't get a created car to import without being
corrupt. I have all the detail instructions from "Late Night with
Dave" & Chris's NASCAR page.

I have saved the Nas2pad.pcx every combination I can imagine and it
just won't transfer.

Anyone know of any advice???

Many Thanx

Export a copy of any car from N2 paintkit and open it in you paint
program along side your painted car.  Take your car and cut it out
(just the car and white background, not the surrounding pink) and paste
it into the untouched exported car.  After saving this, the file will
no longer give you an error.

Assuming your problem is with Nascar 2: After you have converted the
pcx to the correct pallette, with for example Paint Shop Pro,
sometimes the car still won't import into the game.

A fix is to copy the upper left corner of the pcx which contains the
actual car (the area with a white background) and paste it over a
previously exported car. That way the program will always import the
file.

I had trouble at first, but I read Late Nights help and I used his ideas
and made a help file in my own words.  I've been told it helped others
who have tried other help sites.  It has the basics in an easy to
understand form.  I wrote it in the same flow that I paint all mine.
