N2002: Looking for tweaking suggestions

by pw » Thu, 22 Aug 2002 12:13:19

Hi,

My frame rates are still lower with my new 128MB GF4ti4200 (eVGA) card
than with my old 64MB GF2 GTS Pro (Hercules) card.  I have v-synch
off, and have anisotropic filtering off in the menu, and set to 0 in
the config file.

Any other suggestions for getting my frame rates up?

And, I still can not get Force Feedback to work (can't select it)!

I have applied the 1102 update also, and am using the latest Omega
drivers and I first deleted nv*.* before installing them.

FYI - Windows 98, 1.33 T-Bird, 512MB PC2100 DDR RAM, SB Live! 5.1
X-Gamer sound card.

Thanks,

-pw
