Am I the only one to notice that unlike the scenery, the cars _don't_
reflect on the track in wet weather?

Just my 2 cents...

Readme's are a nice thing to read; in the cards.txt try putting this at the
end (solved same graphix problem for my card):

detailmap=0

I tried that, problem persists. (so lose the snooty readme quip)

It's gotta be due to My V3500...
3dfx loves to be extremely slow in updating their drivers for that
card as opposed to all the other Voodoo 3's

Newest drivers for V3500 = June 22nd
Newest drivers for Voodoo 3's = July 21st.

Just a suggestion...

Try forcing the V5 drivers on yer 3500.  I ran them briefly, some say the image
quality and speed improve when forcing a 3000 to use them
I went to the latest release of the V3 driver once it was released

Hey, I often times don't read it so don't talk about snooty.  I think almost
everyone here bypasses the readme before playing a game for the first time
(I mean that file is only useful if a problem pops up), which means I think
it's fair for me to assume you didn't read it when you don't say you made
any attempts to fix it...you just said here's a problem and made no mention
of trying to fix it...either way if you were offended by the view of my nose
hairs, sorry.

Same card as mine...I have noticed it does pop-up in the rain and overcast
skies on occasion.

Well often times they release them right after the 2000/3000's...don't
forget our card has the TV on it and about every driver update has both the
drivers and VisualReality updated.

I noticed that too. It's a bit odd because all the previews of the game said
that the cars did reflect. Let's wait till Friday and see.
