F1RS & MGPR2 wheel spin

F1RS & MGPR2 wheel spin

In both F1RS & MGPR2  I am having a hard time controlling wheel-spin.  In
first & second gears, I can barely use 1/4 throttle before getting wheel
spin (and the competition just drives away).  Once in 3rd gear I can floor
it.  Yes, I know about the wheel-spin help option, but that turns off ALL
wheel spin, and prevents doing a quick spin around (I seem to wind up
pointing the wrong way quite a bit :) .  I remember GP2 having more
believable wheel-spin.  Anyone have advice?  (don't bother posting "buy
F1-2k" or "wait for GP3").  Thx.

Well, that's one of the canned things in F1RS.  Just try to ease the car as
much as possible, or do what you don't want me saying.  :)

Can't help you, but DON'T but F12000. The wheelspin is even worse...

I respectfully disagree with that statement.  MGPRS2 and F1RS are
almost impossible to control for me traction control.  F12K does spin,
but not to the excess (?) that these games do.

I agree.  MGPRS2 without driver aids was a *real* handful.  No problems
with F1 2000.  Or any other sim I've owned, for that matter.
